We've added some cool new
features to help with your Summer watching! The new showtimes
refinements help you find just the movie you're looking for. Updates to
instant watch, on disc, and TV listings make it easier to find the right
place to watch millions of titles.
Unfortunately, as sometimes happens, we’ve had to remove a few features from the app in this version. The “On DVD/Blu-ray” pages are being retired as the data source we were using wasn’t up to snuff and we don’t want to show them until we can guarantee a good experience. If you’re fond of this feature, we recommend going to Amazon’s Movie and TV Department on the web, where you can find bestselling and new this week DVDs and Blu-rays. And to be compliant with app submission guidelines, we can no longer link to the IMDb.com website from our title and name pages.
But! For our TV fans: you can now see all the episodes someone has been in instead of the 5 we were showing you before. Yes. We’ve been waiting a long time for this one. And we know you have too. So when you find yourself scrolling through the multitudes of episodes of your favorite TV actor/actress (you know you will), maybe take a break and write an app store review for us. We read all of them and appreciate your feedback!
